Clinical Therapist

Part-Time

Chesapeake Behavioral Health Center is seeking a part-time (20 hours per week) Licensed Clinical Therapist to work in our Reisterstown office.

Clinical Therapist must be able to work on Mondays and Wednesdays.

Responsibilities

The Clinician is responsible for performing a variety of patient care activities as directed by the Clinical Director.

The Clinician will conduct psychosocial assessments and be responsible for the patient caseload.
The Clinician will collaborate with the treatment team to formulate the Treatment Plan.
The Clinician has primary responsibility for maintaining communication with the individuals and other service providers as needed.

Effectively uses therapeutic interventions to assist patients with accomplishing all treatment plans goals and objectives.
Ability to develop client relationships and facilitate effective assessment and referral; empowers the client to help themselves when appropriate.
Sensitive listening and communication skills.
Experience providing therapeutic interventions to foster an environment that supports a holistic, systemic approach to service delivery.

Education and Experience

MSW degree from an accredited university. Must be licensed at the graduate level in Maryland and working towards independent licensure.
Licensed at the independent practice levels – LMSW required, Supervision provided by LCSW-C
At least one (1) year of clinical experience in the mental health field (additional training may substitute for one year).

Requirements

All offers of employment at Chesapeake Behavioral Health Center are contingent upon clear results of a thorough background check. A criminal background check will be conducted on all final candidates as our clientele includes younger individuals under the age of 18 years old.

To assure the safety of patients and staff, proof of vaccination must be provided for both COVID-19 and influenza vaccines.
